Need Furniture?
Maybe you've just moved and just need somethings to get buy? or need a couch for the children's playroom?
Gobeil's Furniture Bank offers used furniture. Basicly, it'd the items that folks have donated when Gobiel's brings them a new couch or bed and they ask them to take away the old one. In my experince, they have mostly couches, beds or chairs...occasionally dressers end tables or lamps but those aren't as frequent a find.
Call the warehouse at 657-2111 M-F, 10-4pm and ask for Joe.
Tell him what you are looking for, if he has it, he'll let you come take a look. If you need it delivered there is a $10-$20 fee depending on where you live. Otherwise it's totally free.

In need of children's clothing? Items? Toys? The Children's Closet may have what you need. Come browse donated items. I have seen car seats and strollers here at times. You do not need to be a resident of South Portland to use this service. It is totally free and open to everyone.
