Hourfest 2011 is a day-long skill-share festival in which everyone is invited to share and learn new skills in a variety of workshops.
Admission for the day will be a $15 donation OR Hour Exchange members may pay 3 hours. All volunteers who work at least 3 hours will be given free admission for the rest of the day. Admission includes 4 workshops, a potluck lunch, and live music.
Advance registration is available online, and at the Hour Exchange Portland main office, 516 Congress Street.
Potluck and live music part of the deal.
I wanted to teach beaded jewelry/wrapped sea glass but have a conflict as I have scheduled my son's birthday party for that afternoon.
